Stuart is a Senior Technical Services Managers at IOOF TechConnect and is a regular presenter and author of technical literature covering tax, superannuation, social security and SMSFs. His qualifications include a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Arts. He is also a CFP member of the Financial Planning Association.

Deanne Firth

Deanne Firth (FCA) is a SMSF Specialist whose focus is on all things Super. She is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, member of CA ANZ Regional Council, a CA SMSF Specialist and a registered SMSF auditor. She manages a team of highly experienced auditors and focuses on efficiency to ensure fast turnaround. Deanne also speaks at a variety of conferences and produces a weekly tax and superannuation webinar for Effective PD.

Deanne is involved in various organisations that promote causes she firmly believes in.  She is the Vice President of B1G1, a non-profit organisation that provides businesses around the world opportunities to help in projects that are in line with sustainable development goals and is a two time best-selling author. She presented at the Women’s Economic Forum in India in April 2019 and is a two time internationally best selling author.

Rohan Mansfield

Rohan commenced with LDB in July 2018 after spending 17 years working with one of Australia’s largest accounting firms in their superannuation division.

Rohan provides superannuation accounting and advisory services to self-managed superannuation fund (SMSF) trustees. He specialises in giving advice to trustees in relation to contributions, pensions and investments.

He does regular public speaking on superannuation topics and has presented for organisations such as CPA Australia, Television Education Network and Legalwise.

Rohan holds a Bachelor of Economics, majoring in accounting, and is a qualified Chartered Accountant.

Rohan is also an authorised representative of LDB Financial Group Pty Ltd – Australian Financial Services Licensee Number 437164.

Mark Wilkinson

Mark is a superannuation partner in our business services team in BDO’s Sydney office and an authorised representative of BDO Private Wealth Advisers (East Coast) Pty Ltd.

He is one of the leading members of the BDO Superannuation team in Australia and has been providing superannuation and retirement planning advice for more than 30 years.

As a superannuation specialist, Mark provides strategic superannuation advice on how the State and Federal legislation impact on the areas of superannuation, retirement, estate and succession planning for clients as they build their wealth en route to retirement.

Mark knows how an SMSF structure can be used as an effective part of a business group, as an exit strategy, as a growth strategy, and how to undertake various property transactions including borrowing within the SMSF environment. Licensed to provide superannuation advice, he advises on SMSF establishment, contribution planning strategies, pension planning advice, estate planning and consulting regarding Superannuation Industry Supervision Act Compliance issues.

Mark Ellem

Mark Ellem has extensive experience in Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSFs), Pension Funds, Income Tax and Financial Advisory. He is a Fellow of the CPA, IPA and SMSF Association, and received the 2018 SMSF Association CEO award.

Mark is an experienced and highly sought after presenter, he is passionate about educating accountants and SMSF practitioners about SMSFs and strategies to make SMSFs a successful part of their business.

Mark is a member of the Austin Motor Vehicle Club of Queensland and enjoys driving his classic Austin cars, a 1968 Austin 1800 Mk1 and a 1955 Austin A50 Cambridge, when they’re running and working on them (when they’re not).

Peter Johnson

A former Accountant and Practice Partner, Peter’s advanced qualifications and experience are supplemented by a genuine understanding of the machinations of the day-to-day demands on accounting firms. 

Personally… Peter’s commitment to delivering a premium service and his disciplined work ethic are perhaps unsurprising given his former association with the Australian Army.

He studied at the renowned RMC Duntroon and served as both an Officer and Trainer. Whilst he looks back fondly on his time in the military, Peter says serving accountants and helping their firms to grow and prosper, is challenging, rewarding and fills his life with a powerful purpose…just as his military career once did.

Chris Ketsakidis

Chris specialises in superannuation and financial services advice for a broad range of industry participants, including public offer and public sector superannuation funds, corporate funds, responsible entities, worker entitlement funds and their service providers.

Chris advises on all investment, regulatory, compliance, tax and contractual issues, including issues arising from disputes, regulator actions, royal commissions, superannuation product offerings, fund mergers, and outsourcing arrangements.
